Jeanna was fantastic! I came to her with a catalogue of physical symptoms following a torn ligament and bad back. She assessed my medical history and after just one session, some of my symptoms had eased. I had four sessions in total and it’s no overstatement to say I was transformed. My acute physical pains had gone, plus things that I’d accepted as the norm for me for many years suddenly improved, including my posture and breathing. I also felt energised and more resilient. Because Jeanna is skilled in several techniques she quickly identified that my body responds well to myofascial release. Not only was the treatment extremely effective, but it took place in the relaxing setting of her yurt with a wood burner facing open fields in a quiet, pretty village. It’s wonderful! If you’re thinking of booking, I whole-heartedly recommend you do.

The whole hot stone massage experience in a yurt was heavenly! Probably the most relaxing treatment to date. Jeanna has years of experience, she was professional and friendly and the treatment itself felt so deeply relaxing. I would highly recommend Jeanna, this is a wonderful experience and Iford is a quaint little village just a few minutes from Lewes and I think well worth the visit.

Meeting Jeanna at Roundhouse Therapies has been very nuturing for me. The setting is completely right and offers a warm and cosy calming yurt. Jeanna demonstrates a deep understanding of bodywork and her aptitude for therapeutic massage has brought great relief from my presenting symptoms. There is as well, an overriding sense of emotional security throughout, which is generated through Giannas non judgemental and professional approach to her work.I would highly recommend her fascial release work as well as the hot stones. The massage offers a welcome refuge for body and mind alike.

Jeanna had advised me to consider getting a massage as I suffer from terrible backache. I’ve always been a bit reluctant to get a massage because I felt I wouldn’t be comfortable and relied on just getting better myself.Although I’m only 26, I felt like I had the back of an 80 year old. My main job is in an office sat down behind a screen all day, then my part-time job is as a chef which means lots of heavy lifting and physical stress. I then spend my free time working under a car and by the end of each week my back is in bits.I got to a point where I was struggling to get out of bed and struggling to sit down comfortably for more than 20 mins so obviously this was affecting my work.When I visited Roundhouse Therapies, Jeanna was so welcoming and I felt comfortable before I even entered the yurt. Within an hour session, Jeanna had completely fixed my back. Once I stood up I felt somewhat taller which Jeanna explained was because my muscles were so tight, it was causing me to arch over… I also realised as I was walking later that day, my posture was miles better and I felt much more comfortable whilst at either of my jobs and under the car. I could even jump out of bed again which I haven’t been able to do for far too long.I will definitely be returning here as Jeanna has completely changed my expectation of massages plus my everyday life has been so much better now, wish I had come much sooner.Thanks again!

Where to start! A year of sitting on zoom calls, a running injury from over-zealous exercise when studios and gyms had to close, legacy aches and pains and the all round ageing process which takes its toll on the body. I feel so very fortunate to have found Jeanna Lindfield. After just one session, I felt an immediate difference and had a new spring in my step. After 3 sessions, the difference is extraordinary. I would absolutely recommend Jeanna to anyone who is in pain for 3 reasons:She is a very confident practitioner who has done extensive training and understands the body really well.She has a huge amount of experience and it shows.She is an excellent listener and responds depending on progress from previous session.Finally, what a pleasure to be treated in a beautiful yurt in the countryside, with the sounds of the birds and the wind outside. Very covid secure with ventilation, a HEPA filter and strict sanitisation protocol.A very special and ultimately extremely effective experience.

It was my first time with Jeanna during Covid period and I must say that the location and premises is the first positive experience of the treatment. All measures where in place for covid-19 and effectively communicated. I felt comfortable and safe. On the treatment, without a doubt, it was the best I have received of the 5 hot stone massages. All the weight, pressures, anxiety, troubles etc that I carried remained on that massage table and I was ready to take on more. I made my next appointment immediately, only that I have to wait a little longer with the new lockdown rules.

I had an excellent treatment at Roundhouse Therapies. Jeanna was really warm and welcoming and the yurt very cosy and relaxing. I suffer with neck and shoulder pain and tension headaches from spending a lot of time on a computer. Jeanna released a lot of tension and the whole problem area felt considerably lighter afterwards. She was able to treat areas I couldn't do myself by stretching alone. I would definitely recommend and will return for more treatments!

I've been dreaming of heading back to Jeanna's yurt for one of her amazing massages for weeks. There are two stand out things about this experience. One is knowing that you are in expert hands. Jeanna really knows her stuff. The second is that the atmosphere in this gorgeous yurt is second to none. The birdsong, the breeze, the rain outside... it all makes you feel cocooned, relaxed and beautifully held. I can't imagine a better massage experience.

Had the most wonderful deep tissue massage today with Jeanna. Loved the use of hot stones and also the stretching aspect of the massage which really helped with the movement in my shoulders and neck. I had a myofascial release massage with Jeanna yesterday, and I would recommend her in a heartbeat. Jeanna called back and offered an appointment and I struggled through the road closure in Lewes, to Iford. Behind the beautiful, flint cobbled house was a delightful garden and, sure enough, a yurt.With no traffic noise, the only sounds were birdsong, gentle rush of the wind and the soft flapping of canvas. A remote location has its benefits.Jeanna conducted a thorough consultation and offered a one hour deep tissue massage, with hot stones. Her intuitive touch and excellent technique addressed all areas we had discussed, and I left feeling lighter, softer and significantly more relaxed.If you are in the area and are looking for something special, this is an experience not to be missed.

Jeanna is definitely an expert massage therapist! I had a fabulous 90 minute treatment in her beautiful yurt - a full body hot stone massage and a mini facial with hot stones and I thoroughly enjoyed every delicious, therapeutic moment!The hot stone body massage really settled down some shoulder pain I had been suffering and it has remained better since. Jeanna is always so welcoming and fits me in at a convenient time that works with my diary. I have suffered from neck and shoulder pain for a number of years due to my work and when I visit Jeanna I come away feeling relaxed and revived. Jeanna takes time to find out how I feel and where she will focus her attention to before each session. The setting for a deep tissue massage is perfect to unwind and relax in, I so enjoy visiting and spending peaceful time in Jeannas Yurt. I went to Jeanna for RSI of the wrists and elbows along with lumbar pain. She used a variety of sports techniques and I got almost instant results. The yurt space is incredibly relaxing and cosy and Jeanna is extremely professional and knowledgable. I go back regularly for maintenance treatments. The Hot Stones are a real treat within an otherwise clinical treatment.

A wonderful nurturing and therapeutic experience. The setting is beautiful, the yurt is warm and has a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Jeanna strives to make a remedial massage feel indulgent and this is where I think she really excels. She worked on my painful shoulder and head and neck tension and succeeded in easing the pain and tension at the same time as making me feel nourished and relaxed. The hot stones felt heavenly. Since joining the Fire Service 8 years ago I've incurred a number of minor on the job injuries alongside excessively tight muscles particularly my right shoulder and rotator cuff. It reached the point where stretching, physio, sports massage, pain killers and anti-inflammtories just weren't touching it with pain and discomfort being a regular daily occurence.Jeanna listened to my lengthy list of ailments, she deserves a medal for that alone, and talked me through her thoughts and processes.Jeanna is clearly highly skilled and knowledgable. I have now had four hip joint-focused massages from Jeanna for my severe arthritis. I hobble in stuff as a cast iron penguin and I leave with free and almost painless movement. She is an incredibly talented massage therapist and also lovely. The yurt and the location are honestly bliss. I’ve never had such effective targeted therapy. In the past I have also had amazing hot stone therapy for general muscle relief, and she got me walking upright in one session following whiplash in my back about ten years ago. She is amazing.

This was my first visit to Round House Therapies and a birthday treat. Jeanna gave me a deep tissue hot stone massage, again a first. It was amazing. I suffer from tightness in my upper back, shoulder and neck and also had just pulled a muscle lower in my back, so I was very much in need of healing hands. I had several sessions of myofascial release therapy with Jeanna and she worked wonders on my shoulder and upper back which were injured due to years of computer/mouse/desk work. After a serious car accident, I wasn’t able to make the journey to RoundHouse but Jeanna was good enough to visit me. My shoulder had suffered serious soft tissue damage leaving me numb, with hard lumps under the skin. Jeanna worked on the area applying a myofascial release technique. The difference was almost instantly noticeable. It softened the entire area and the numbness began to fade.I can wholeheartedly recommend Jeanna as a professional therapist and will be sure to book her services again in the future. Cannot recommend highly enough.
